No person reads it. It’s indexed so you can search it. When you connect, a model reads a few messages to find things worth keeping, like your insurance and your bank, and nothing is kept without your yes. After that, it reads only what a question needs.
Gmail and Google Calendar today, plus anything you upload. Outlook and Google Drive are next.

On our servers. Documents are encrypted under a key that belongs only to your account. Card numbers, Social Security numbers and labeled bank account numbers are masked to the last four digits before anything is stored.
Only the passages a question needs, sent to Anthropic under terms that forbid training on them. Never the whole archive.

We follow valid orders, and we tell you unless we're barred from doing so. Deleted data can't be handed over.
